On July 17, 2010, Rose Baker, David Passmore, and Ki Seok Jeon presented a session, "Offshorability of Pennsylvania Jobs: What are the Risks?," at the 2010 Pennsylvania Workforce Investment Board Symposium held at the Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center in State College, Pennsylvania. ShaleNETPersonnel from the Workforce Education and Development Initiative conducted nine video interviews with participants in the ShaleNET Marcellus Shale Workforce Forum held on December 6, 2010. These interviews are available for viewing. The conference program is available at http://ShaleNET.notlong.com.

The Development of Marcellus Shale is truly progressing with incredible speed. Several estimates put the number of Marcellus Shale drilling rigs between 160 and 200 before the end of 2010. Rig counts are already up more than 177% over last year.
