The article featured in the October 24, 2008 issue discussed the recent release of a Penn State report prepared by Baker and Passmore which highlighted the economic influence of the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind (PAB)

The article cited Elaine Welch, president and CEO of the PAB, requesting the report in order to gain an objective perspective about the extent of impact that the organization really has.
